Coin and currency collectors in the US are willing to pay up to $150,000 in search of rare $1 bills with a particular printing error from the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

How To Identify Bills Worth Up to $150,000

There are three things you need to know to identify the misprinted bills that could be worth a small fortune: – The Series date located near the photograph of George Washington must read “Series 2013”

– The bill must have a “B” Federal Reserve Seal above the serial number – The serial number must end with a star (*) and fall between B00000001* – B00250000* or B03200001*-B09600000*

If you are lucky enough to stumble across one of these $1 bills in your wallet, you are one step closer to cashing in. But the value of this particular misprint is in pairing it to the other bill with a matching serial number.
