4. Gas Pumpers
This profession is irrelevant to those in the South, but in some states like Oregon and New York, gas station workers come out and pump the gas for you. A nice gesture but a needless one.
5. Valet Parkers
“My wife and I enjoy eating at nice restaurants a few times a year, but not enough to pay valet parking unless it’s ‘free,’ we would otherwise spend more paying to park vs. tipping a valet. A passionate user says telemarketers have passed their prime. In this age of ever-present digital technology, we don’t need human peddlers pushing sales. Plus, many people avoid or block telemarketer calls, which doesn’t increase business for any company.
8. Lobbyist
A primary disliked profession in this thread is that of a lobbyist or an individual who influences legislation and government officials. Lobbyists help educate and inform government officials before making law changes.
9. Politicians
Aside from lobbyists, commenters want to eradicate political positions. A user voices that one person should not have that much power at any point. At the same time, another respondent utters politicians have overstayed their welcome.
10. Tax Workers
“H&R Block and any other businesses based solely around helping people navigate a needlessly complicated tax system,” a being notes. Others agree, claiming that the government can simplify taxes by purging the hierarchy of the tax break.
